I’m always surrounded by books, be it the book that I’ve to study to get good grades or a book that will make me a better person. I wasn’t a bibliophile back in school, but during my college days, I somehow became an avid reader, and that really changed my life, this might sound dramatic, but it’s true. I enjoy reading books more than anything.

I believe that books carry ideas and reflect their time and their world. They contain the compressed knowledge of humanity, and they only live when opened and read.

In the age of the internet and the fast-moving world, where you don’t need to read a book to know a story when you can watch a well-directed TV series for the same, people have lost interest in books. Today people don’t find the old books endearing, and why would they since these books are written in a language that hardly anyone can read fluently. However, I believe, the biggest obstacle is the fact that we no longer have the historical, social, and intellectual context in which these books were written. That is why I started this blog. I want to tell the stories of books. I want to convey why a book was so exciting, meaningful, scandalous, modern, and progressive during its time. I’ll try to give you the context in which the book was written and will sort for you the golden principles that the author is trying to impart through their writings. I’ll review the books for you telling its importance and why you should read it, and I’ll try to abstain from providing any spoilers (unless necessary), so I could also preserve the best books you would ever read.

In this blog, not just we will talk about the classics but will also look towards modern literature, not just scholarly books but everything from Love, romance to horror and thrillers genres.
